CISOs have undoubtedly been working tirelessly throughout the pandemic to help secure a new, remote workforce and fleet of technologies while ensuring proper security protections in place for many different types of software, applications and devices, as well as how they are accessed.
Pandemic forced them to begin asking questions that were not priority before, such as examining what OU’s standing in endpoint management or zero trust looks like. The things OU was “kind of ignoring” became top priorities. Prior to the pandemic, they were stretch goals.
